When Chris reached out about launching a new golf simulator lounge in Charleston, I was super intrigued. Not only because I love designing for fun, unique businesses, but because his vision was clear. He didn’t want stuffy. He didn’t want traditional. And absolutely no crossed golf clubs allowed. Got it!
He wanted something bold, coastal, playful, and colorful. A brand that stood out just as much as the space he was creating.
Meet Par Paradise
Located on Daniel Island, Par Paradise is a golf simulator lounge designed for good times, fun vibes, and solid swing practice. From the start, Chris wanted to create a destination that felt fresh and high-energy, nothing stuffy with country club vibes!
With full creative freedom and a solid sense of direction from Chris, I designed a custom brand suite and website that totally captured that tropical, sporty energy. The color palette is beachy but elevated, the logo mark is so fun, and the overall brand is made to grab attention everywhere it’s used!
Design Tip: Don’t Be Afraid to Ditch the Cliché
Chris’s only firm request was no overused golf visuals. And that’s honestly one of the reasons this branding turned out so strong.
If your industry is full of the same tired imagery, don’t be afraid to skip the obvious! Your audience is more likely to remember something original than something that blends in. The key is to stay relevant to your audience, while still feeling fresh.
